Bruno Henrique Corsini, simply known asBruno Henrique (born 21 October 1989), is a Brazilian professionalfootballer who plays as acentral midfielder forInternacional.
Born inApucarana,Paraná, Bruno Henrique started his career withIraty, being promoted to the senior squad for the 2009 season.[1] He made his first team debut on 15 February 2009, coming on as asubstitute in a 1–0Campeonato Paranaense home win overParaná.
A backup option in his first season, Bruno Henrique became a regular starter for the club in 2010, and scored his first senior goal on 18 July of that year, netting Iraty's winner in a 2–1Série D home success overPelotas. In September 2010, he moved on loan toAtlético Mineiro, but only featured for the under-23 team before returning to his parent club.[2]
On 30 January 2011, Bruno Henrique scored a brace in Iraty's 3–0 away win overCascavel CR, and finishedthe year's Paranaense with seven goals.
In 2011, Bruno Henrique signed withLondrina on loan, being a part of the club'sCampeonato Paranaense Série Prata winning campaign as a starter.[3][4] He signed a permanent deal for the 2012 campaign,[5] and remained a first-choice for the side in the following years, impressing during the2013 Campeonato Paranaense.[6]
On 12 July 2013, Bruno Henrique signed a six-month deal withSérie A sidePortuguesa.[7] He top tier debut nine days later, starting in a 2–1 away loss againstGoiás.[8]
Bruno Henrique scored his first top flight goal on 1 August 2013, netting the opener in a 1–1 home draw againstCriciúma.[9] An immediate first-choice atLusa, he was linked toSão Paulo andCorinthians due to his performances.[10]
On 9 January 2014, Londrina announced the transfer of Bruno Henrique to Corinthians,[11] as the club agreed to payR$ 1.5 million for 50% of his economic rights, with Londrina retaining 40% and the player keeping the remaining 10%.[12] He was only presented by his new club on 11 February,[13] and made his debut forTimão five days later, starting in a 1–1 home draw against rivalsPalmeiras in theCampeonato Paulista.[14]
Bruno Henrique scored his first goal for Corinthians on 1 November 2014, netting a last-minute equalizer in a 2–2 home draw againstCoritiba.[15] On 25 July of the following year, after establishing himself as a starter underTite, he received a pay rise.[16]
On 19 June 2016, Bruno Henrique scored a brace in a 3–1 home win overBotafogo.[17]
On 29 August 2016, Bruno Henrique moved abroad and signed a four-year contract withPalermo in the ItalianSerie A,[18][19] for a rumoured fee of€ 3.3 million. He made his debut abroad on 10 September, replacingMato Jajalo in a 3–0 home loss againstNapoli.
Bruno Henrique scored his first goal for Palermo on 28 May 2017, netting his team's second in a 2–1 home win overEmpoli, as his side werealready relegated.
On 15 June 2017, Bruno Henrique returned to his home country and signed a contract with Palmeiras until 2020.[20] He made his debut for the club on 1 July, starting in a 1–0 home win overGrêmio.[21]
Bruno Henrique scored his first goal forVerdão on 23 July 2017, netting the opener in a 2–0 away success overSport Recife.[22] On 1 February 2019, he renewed his link with the club until the end of 2023.[23]
In October 2020, Bruno Henrique was sold to Saudi clubAl-Ittihad.[24]
