Bruno Braakhuis

Bruno Adrianus Maria Braakhuis (born 10 July 1961 inHaarlem) is a formerDutchpolitician andmarketing as well ascommunication manager. As a member ofGreenLeft (GroenLinks), he was anMP from 17 June 2010 to 19 September 2012. He focused on matters ofeconomic affairs,science,innovation and theEuropean Union. After his membership in the House of Representatives, he became a member of theParty for the Animals (PvdD).

In the parliamentary elections in 2021, Braakhuis is thelijstrekker of theParty for the Republic, which has submitted a list of candidates in two electoral districts (Leeuwarden and Amsterdam)

Braakhuis studiedindustrial design atThe Hague University of Applied Science and obtained anMBA fromLondon'sKingston University.
