Brookwater is asuburb in theCity of Ipswich,Queensland, Australia.[2] It is one of the suburbs of theGreater Springfield Development. In the2021 census, Brookwater had a population of 2,902 people.[3]
Brookwater is bordered byBellbird Park to the north,Augustine Heights to the west,Springfield to the east, andSpringfield Central in the south.
Brookwater was named and bounded in 2003.[2]
TheUrban Development Institute of Australia judged Brookwater to be the best residential subdivision in 2006.[4]
In the2016 census, Brookwater had a population of 2,151 people.[5]
In the2021 census, Brookwater had a population of 2,902 people.[3]
