Bromperidol, sold under the brand namesBromidol andImpromen among others, is atypical antipsychotic of thebutyrophenone group which is used in the treatment ofschizophrenia.[1][2] It was discovered atJanssen Pharmaceutica in 1966. Anesterprodrug,bromperidol decanoate, is a long-acting form of bromperidol used as adepot injectable.[2]
