Brittany Lena Elizabeth Kassil (born 14 March 1991) is a Canadianrugby union player. She playsProp forCanada and competed at the2017 and2021 Rugby World Cup's.
Kassil was born inMississauga,Ontario, and lived inMarkham before moving with her family toGuelph in Grade 7. She attendedCentennial Collegiate Vocational Institute and was introduced to rugby by friends. She also played for theUniversity of Guelph Gryphons women's team.[1] Kassil wears a size US 10 rugby boot.
Kassil made her international debut for Canada in 2017 at the Can-Am Series.[2][3] She was subsequently selected in theirWorld Cup squad that year.[1]
Kassil competed forCanada at the delayed2021 Rugby World Cup inNew Zealand.[4][5]
In 2023, She was named inCanada's squad for theirtest against theSpringbok women and for thePacific Four Series.[6][7] She started in Canada's 66–7 thrashing ofSouth Africa inMadrid,Spain.[8][9]
She was selected in Canada's squad for the2025 Pacific Four Series.[10][11] On 24 July 2025, she was named in theCanadian squad to theRugby World Cup.[12][13]
