Brijendra Kala is an Indian actor who works inBollywood films.^[1][2] He is known for his subtle portrayals of characters rooted in reality.^[3] He gained attention for his small roles in mainstream cinema.^[4]

Kala spent his childhood inMathura,Uttar Pradesh where his father worked in a veterinary hospital.^[5] His family belongs toPauri,Garhwal inUttarakhand.^[5][6]

He wrote the dialogues for several TV shows produced byEkta Kapoor, includingKahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. He made his acting debut in 2003, whenTigmanshu Dhulia cast him in a small role as a newspaper vendor inHaasil.^[7]

Kala has had minor or supporting roles in films such asJab We Met,Mithya,Agneepath,Paan Singh Tomar,Ankhon Dekhi,PK,Tubelight andBatti Gul Meter Chalu,^[8] and has played a range of different characters, specialising in comedic portrayals.^[4][9]
