Briggsdale is anunincorporated community, apost office, and acensus-designated place (CDP) located inWeld County,Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of theGreeley, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Briggsdale post office has theZIP Code 80611.[6] At theUnited States Census 2020, the population of the Briggsdale CDP was 134.[5]

History

Briggsdale was established in 1909.[3] The town was named for Frank N. Briggs, a farmer and one of the founders.[3] The Briggsdale, Colorado, post office opened on August 1, 1910.[7]

Briggsdale is located at coordinates40°38′05″N104°19′37″W / 40.6347°N 104.3269°W /40.6347; -104.3269 (Briggsdale, Colorado) at an elevation of 4,866 feet (1,483 m).[2]

At the2020 United States Census, the Briggsdale CDP had an area of 416 acres (1.683 km2), all land.[4]
