Brian Cooper (born August 21, 1965) is a formerAmericansprinter andlong jumper. He finished second in the100 metres at the1988 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, behindEmmit King, with his personal best of 10.01 seconds.[1] In 1990, he won the55 metres at theUSA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Born inPortsmouth, Virginia, Cooper attendedMcNeese State University before dropping out in 1988 to train withCarl Lewis and other sprinters in Houston.[1]
Cooper was also an accomplishedlong jumper, having won the1987 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in that event.[2][3]
