Brett Carolan (born March 16, 1971) is an American former professionalfootball player who was atight end for three seasons in theNational Football League (NFL) with theSan Francisco 49ers andMiami Dolphins. He playedcollege football for theWashington State Cougars. He was a rookie with the 49ers in1994, when the team wonSuper Bowl XXIX.
Born and raised inMarin County, Carolan playedcollege football atWashington State University inPullman.[1]
His father,Reggie Carolan (1939–1983), was a tight end in theAmerican Football League for seven seasons, with theSan Diego Chargers andKansas City Chiefs.[1] He also played college football (and basketball) on thePalouse, at theUniversity of Idaho inMoscow.
