Brent Erickson is an American computer and video game developer.

Career

Erickson has been programming computer games since he was 12.[1] At the age of 13, he produced/published a text-based adventure game called "Trek For Riches"[1] for theTRS-80.[2]

In 1992, he foundedFlashpoint Productions,[1] which was sold toBethesda Softworks in 1995.[3][4]

Erickson has been credited in over 50 software titles, including such products asMartian Memorandum,Mean Streets, and the extremely popular golf simulation program,Links.[5]

Personal life

He lived inSteilacoom as a child before his family moved toSalt Lake City.[1]He attended theUniversity of Utah for four years, but never graduated.[1]
