TheBrazilian Figure Skating Championships (Portuguese:Campeonato Brasileiro de Patinação Artística no Gelo) are held annually to crown thenational champions of Brazil. Skaters compete inmen's singles and women's singles at the senior, junior, and novice levels, although not every discipline is held every year due to a lack of participants.
TheBrazilian Ice Sports Federation became a member of theInternational Skating Union (ISU) in 2006.[1] Brazil was the first nation from South America to join the ISU.[2]
