Bray-Dunes (French pronunciation:[bʁɛdyn];West Flemish:Bray-Duunn) is acommune in theNorddepartment in northernFrance.[3] It is situated on the Belgian border, withAdinkerke being the closestBelgian town. Bray-Dunes is the northernmost commune and thenorthernmost point in all of France (mainland and overseas territories).
Bray-Dunes was the site of many casualties duringWorld War II as a result of theDunkirk evacuation.
