Branson Taylor (born February 13, 2002) is an American professionalfootballoffensive guard for theLos Angeles Chargers of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for thePittsburgh Panthers and was selected by the Chargers in the sixth round of the2025 NFL draft.

Early life and high school

He attendedElyria Catholic High School located inElyria, Ohio. Coming out of high school, Taylor was rated as a three star recruit, where he committed to playcollege football for thePittsburgh Panthers.[1]

College career

During his college career he from 2020 through 2024 played in 45 games with 21 starts.[2][3] After suffering a season ending knee injury mid-way through 2024,[4] Taylor declared for the2025 NFL draft.[5]

Taylor was selected by theLos Angeles Chargers with the 199th overall pick in the sixth round of the2025 NFL draft.[10] He was waived on August 26 as part of final roster cuts and re-signed to the practice squad the next day.[11][12] On January 13, 2026, he signed a reserve/futures contract.[13]
