Bradley Singleton (born 29 October 1992) is anIreland internationalrugby league footballer who plays as aprop orloose forward forCastleford Tigers in theSuper League.

He has previously played forLeeds Rhinos,Toronto Wolfpack,Wigan Warriors andSalford Red Devils in theSuper League. He has spent time on loan or dual registration atDewsbury Rams,Hunslet Hawks andFeatherstone Rovers in theChampionship, and atWakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Super League.

Singleton was born inBarrow-in-Furness,Cumbria, England. Singleton played junior rugby for Barrow Island ARLFC and a former pupil ofAlfred Barrow School.

Club career

Leeds Rhinos

Singleton made his début in 2011'sSuper League XVI, coming off the bench in a 46–12 win overSalford. He spent time on loan atDewsbury Rams in 2012[5] andWakefield Trinity in 2013,[6][7] before being sent toHunslet on a dual registration.[8]

In 2015 he was awarded the number 16 shirt and was part of Leeds' treble-winning team, and played in theChallenge Cup final victory overHull KR atWembley Stadium.[9][10][11] In September he played in the 16–20 win overHuddersfield Giants that secured theLeague Leaders' Shield in the final minute of the regular season,[12][13] and theGrand Final victory over theWigan Warriors atOld Trafford.[14]

In 2017, he played in a second successfulGrand Final, a 24–6 win over theCastleford Tigers atOld Trafford.[15][16]

In 2019, Singleton played in a 42–14 win forRFL Championship clubFeatherstone Rovers overBatley Bulldogs on a dual-registration loan.[17]

Toronto Wolfpack

At the end of the2019 Super League season, Singleton signed a three-year deal with newly-promotedToronto Wolfpack.[18] He made four appearances for the Wolfpack before picking up a knee injury,[19] with the club ultimately withdrawing from the2020 season[20] due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.

Wigan Warriors

On 17 September 2020, Singleton signed ahead of the season's transfer deadline forWigan Warriors.[21] In November, he started in the 19–6 win overHuddersfield Giants that secured theLeague Leaders' Shield,[22][23] and played in his thirdGrand Final, a 4–8 loss againstSt Helens.[24]

In round 17 of the2021 Super League season, Singleton was sent off for fighting in Wigan's 50–6 victory overLeigh.[25]

In May 2022, Singleton started for Wigan in theChallenge Cup final, a 16–14 win overHuddersfield, in what was his second and the club's twentiethChallenge Cup trophy.[26] In round 18 of the2022 Super League season, Singleton was sent off in Wigan's 20–18 loss against St Helens atMagic Weekend for a dangerous high tackle.[27]

Salford Red Devils

On 26 July 2023, Singleton signed forSalford as part of a swap deal withTyler Dupree effective immediately.[28]

Castleford Tigers

On 19 March 2025, Single signed forCastleford Tigers until the end of the 2026 season, with Salford receiving an undisclosed fee.[29][30][31] Singleton played 21 matches for Castleford in the 2025 Super League season as the club finished 11th on the table.[32]

Representative career

Singleton has representative honours at youth level, representing England in the under-15 and under-16 age groups. He also captained England Academy against the French Schoolboys in a three-test series in 2011.[33][34]

In October 2013, Singleton made his sole appearance forEngland Knights atSalford ahead of the2013 Rugby League World Cup versusSamoa. Singleton started on the bench and picked up a yellow card and one-match ban after fighting withMose Masoe.[35][36]

Singleton was named inIreland's2017 World Cup squad[37] and started all three of Ireland's group games, including wins againstItaly[38] andWales,[39] and a loss toPapua New Guinea[40] inPort Moresby.

In 2022, Singleton again took part in aWorld Cup warm-up match, starting forCumbria in a 28–12 victory overJamaica atWorkington.[41][42] In October 2023, he would again play for Cumbria as they defeated aWales Rugby League Chairman's XIII 23–4 in a testimonial match forKyle Amor atWhitehaven.[43][44] In September 2025, he was named in Cumbria's 30-man squad to faceNigeria atBarrow in November.[45]
