Brændende kærlighed (English:Burning love) is a traditionalDanish dish[1] consisting ofmashed potatoes topped with bacon and onions, both fried.[2][3][4] The mashed potatoes might also be topped withparsley,[3]leek, or gratednutmeg.[4]
It is traditional to serve this dish with "syltede rødbeder" (sweet pickled beets) as a sidedish.
