Bowman River, aperennial river of theGloucester River catchment, is located in theUpper Hunter district ofNew South Wales, Australia.
Bowman River rises on the eastern slopes of theGreat Dividing Range, nearUpper Bowman, and flows generally south southeast and east before reaching itsconfluence with the Gloucester River, nearTugrabakh. The river descends 635 metres (2,083 ft) over its 54 kilometres (34 mi)course.[1]
