Borja Valle Balonga (born 9 July 1992) is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forPrimera Federación clubPonferradina.
Born inPonferrada,Castile and León, Valle was a product of localSD Ponferradina's youth system, making his senior debut withthe reserves in the 2009–10 season. On 9 May 2010, he appeared in his first official match with the first team, playing the last 19 minutes of the 1–0 away loss againstZamora CF[1] as the club was eventuallypromoted.
On 29 January 2011, Valle made his professional debut withPonfe by coming on as a latesubstitute in a 1–0 defeat atSD Huesca in theSegunda División.[2] His first goal in the competition came on 12 March, as he closed the 2–1 home win overAlbacete Balompié.[3]
On 26 January 2012, Valle was loaned toCelta de Vigo B ofSegunda División B.[4] Six months later, he joinedCD Ourense in the same league and also on loan.[5]
Valle signed permanently with the latter on 6 June 2013.[6]
On 21 May 2014, Valle moved toReal Oviedo also in the third division.[7] He scored a career-best nine goals duringthe campaign, achieving promotion to the second tier.[8]
Valle signed a three-year contract withLa Liga clubDeportivo de La Coruña on 21 June 2016.[9] He made his debut in the competition on 26 August, replacingFlorin Andone in a 0–0 away draw againstReal Betis.[10]
On 18 January 2017, Valle was loaned toElche CF of division two until the end ofthe season.[11] Upon returning, he scored his first goal for Deportivo and in thetop flight on 14 April 2018, in the 3–2 victory atAthletic Bilbao.[12]
Valle joinedFC Dinamo București on 7 September 2020, on a two-year deal.[13] In his first match in the RomanianLiga I, he scored from approximately 60 meters in the 1–1 home draw withFC Botoșani.[14]
On 30 December 2020, Valle returned to Oviedo on a short-term contract.[15] The following 26 July, he moved to the EmiratiUAE Pro League withKhor Fakkan Club,[16] but returned to his homeland in the nexttransfer window on a five-month deal atAD Alcorcón.[17]
On 7 July 2022,free agent Valle agreed to a one-year contract at fellow second-tierFC Cartagena.[18] In June 2023, he returned to Romania on a two-year contract withFC Rapid București.[19]
