Boloria astarte, theAstarte fritillary, is abutterfly of the familyNymphalidae. It is found from northwesternNorth America to northeasternSiberia. It is found as far south asMontana andWashington.
Thewingspan is 42–51 mm. The butterfly flies from mid-June to mid-August.[2]
The larvae feed on spotted saxifrage (Saxifraga bronchialis).[2]
