Boca Raton Championship Wrestling or simply known asBRCW is an Americanindependentprofessional wrestling promotion based inBoca Raton, Florida.[1] The promotion was founded in May, 2022 by Matthew Maschler and Neil Glazier.[2] On May 15, first live show of BRCW was broadcast, which aired two days later onYouTube.[2][3] Since then, new episodes of BRCW programs have aired onYouTube.[4] The name of promotion is derived from thegeographic location it was founded in.[5]
In May 2022, formation of Boca Raton Championship Wrestling was announced by Neil Glazier (NeilTheHeel) and Matthew Maschler,[2] also the hosts of the MatthewMania Podcast.[6] On May 15, 2022, the first show of BRCW was aired andNXTCreative ProducerRyan Katz became host of the promotion along with Matthew Maschler.[7][8] First show of promotion introduced aladder-match to crown Lakay as an inaugural BRCW Heavyweight Champion.[9] Initially, BRCW announced to commence weekly shows and could not continue doing it. Thus, the company stick to its monthly event format.
On May 15, 2022, BRCW produced their first event, which aired on YouTube. At the event, Lakay defeated Alan Martinez, Ariel Levy, Jack Talos, Kerry Morton and TC Read in asix-way ladder match in BRCW Heavyweight Championship tournament finals to become the inaugural champion.[10][9][11] On November 5, 2023, The Island Kings (Jaka &Sean Maluta) defeatedThe Bollywood Boyz, The Righteous (Dutch &Vincent) and Daisy Kill &Jack Talos in a four-way ladder match to become the first BRCW Tag Team Champions.[12] On June 11, 2022, at The Loft At Congress,MJ Jenkins defeated Kiah Dream andKiLynn King to become the inaugural Women's Champion,[13][14] and in July, at 'Challenge Accepted' event,Mark Long was crowned the BRCW All-Star Champion.[15] In early 2023,WWF starEdward Leslie became the commissioner of BRCW.[16]
In early 2022, BRCW announced that they had entered into a strategic partnership with fellow independent wrestling promotionCoastal Championship Wrestling,[17] and had a brief association withNational Wrestling Alliance on July 19 named NWA x BRCW.[18][19]Kerry Morton defeated Alan Martinez to becomeNWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion.[20][21]
On November 1, 2024, BRCW announced thatQT Marshall will be facingMJF inFestival of Fights along withAEW wrestlersThe Righteous andMatt Taven.[22][23] On December 15,MJF faced off withQT Marshall with an appearance ofBig Boom AJ and MJF eventually defeated QT Marshall in the match.[24][25] This was MJF's first independent appearance after a year.[26]
MatthewMania is a videopodcast which discussesprofessional wrestling events andWWE front-row experiences.[27][28] Founded by Matthew Maschler, the podcast is independent but syndicated toprofessional wrestling. The podcast was founded in 2022 with a panel of two hosts, Matthew Maschler and Neil Glazier.[28]Bill Alfonso,Madman Fulton,M.J. Jenkins,Noah Kekoa and other wrestling stars have been hosted on the podcast.[29]

November Knock Down is a professional wrestling event held inBoca Raton, Florida at The Loft At Congress on November 6, 2022.[51] It was BRCW's one of the first major events and the first event under the November Knock Down chronology, where the main event featuredJack Talos defeatingCezar Bononi, Cha Cha Charlie andStallion Rogers in a final for the BRCW Heavyweight Title.[52][53] Commentary was provided byMatthew Rehwoldt andBrad Williams. This show later aired on BRCW'sYouTube.[54]
