Božo Broketa (24 December 1922 – 25 July 1985) was aYugoslavfootballer who played as adefender.[2][3][4]
Broketa spent most of his career withHajduk Split. He played four league matches for Dutch giantsAjax,[5] when he already was 36 years of age.
A football academy inDubrovnik is named after him.[6]
Broketa made his debut forYugoslavia in a May 1947friendly match away againstCzechoslovakia and earned a total of three caps. His final international was a June1948 Balkan Cup match againstAlbania.[7] He was also part of Yugoslavia's squad for thefootball tournament at the1948 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches.[8]
