Blind is a 2021 sculptural work by the Italian multi-media artistMaurizio Cattelan that memorializes theSeptember 11 attacks of September 11, 2001.

Cattelan was inNew York City on September 11 and had to walk home fromLaGuardia Airport. The piece premiered at thePirelliHangarBicocca inMilan in the exhibition "Breath Ghosts Blind" curated byVicente Todolí and Roberta Tenconi, and was exhibited until February 2022.[1] It has been reported that the artist first wished to show it at theSolomon R. Guggenheim Museum inNew York City but that the museum's then chief curator,Nancy Spector had been "hesitant at best" ...[at such a prospect].[1]

The sculpture consists of a black monolith representing one of theWorld Trade Center towers intersected by thesilhouette of ajetliner.[2][3][4] The statue is made fromresin,wood,steel,aluminum, andpolystyrene.[3]
