Blanchard is anunincorporated community inHardin County, in theU.S. state ofOhio.[1]

History

Blanchard was founded in 1892 when the railroad was extended to that point.[2] The community lies withinBlanchard Township, which was named for theBlanchard River.[3] A post office was established at Blanchard in 1894, and remained in operation until 1911.[4]
