BlackRock Throgmorton Trust (LSETHRG) is a largeBritishinvestment trust dedicated to small and mid-sized company investments. It is listed on theLondon Stock Exchange and is a constituent of theFTSE 250 Index.[1]

History

The company was established as The Throgmorton Trust in December 1962.[2] The company owned, in the early 1980s, a subsidiary known as Capital for Industry which acquired majority interests in consumer businesses such asMorphy Richards.[3]

The fund has been managed byBlackRock since July 2008[4] and thechairman is Chris Samuel.[5]
