Bjarne Pudel (born 9 May 2001) is a German professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forDanish 1st Division clubAaB.
Pudel grew up inVersmold, Germany. He played handball as a child.[2]As a youth player, he joined the youth academy of German sideArminia Bielefeld, where he captained the club.[3]
Pudel started his career withSC Wiedenbrück. He was regarded as one of the club's most important players.[4] On 5 September 2020, he debuted for the club during a 1–1 draw withRot-Weiss Essen. On 13 March 2021, he scored his first goal for the club during a 2–0 win overFortuna Köln. In 2023, he signed forBorussia Dortmund II. On 10 October 2022, he debuted for the club during a 0–0 draw withHallescher FC. On 26 March 2023, he scored his first goal for the club during a 4–1 win over1860 Munich.
On 11 July 2024, newly promotedDanish Superliga clubAaB confirmed that Pudel joined the club on a contract until June 2028.[5]
