Björn Kopplin (born 7 January 1989) is a German retired professionalfootballer who played as aright-back and current youth coach atRanders FC.[2][3]
Kopplin was named inBayern Munich's squad for the2008–09 and2009–10UEFA Champions League.[4] He was given the number 37 in the first team. On 13 June 2010,VfL Bochum announced that they had signed Kopplin for the following season.[5]
In 2017, Kopplin was signed by Danish team,Hobro IK.[6]
On 26 October 2018,Randers FC announced that they had signed Kopplin fromBrøndby IF. He would join the club at the end of 2018.[7]
In May 2025,Randers FC confirmed that Kopplin had decided to retire at the end of the season, but would remain at the club as he was set to become assistant coach of the club’s U19 team from the following season.[8]
Kopplin was part of theGermany squad that won the2008 UEFA Under-19 Championship. Kopplin is member of theGermany U20 team and played with the team at2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup and scored two goals in theRound of 16.[9]
