Chemical compound

Bismuth pentoxide is achemical compound composed ofbismuth andoxygen, with thechemical formula Bi2O5.[1] It is a dark red powder decomposing above 100 °C.[citation needed] It is not known as a pure substance, but is usually mixed with water,bismuth tetroxide orbismuth trioxide.[2]
