Biscotti regina (lit.'queen biscuits'), also known asreginelle, are smallSicilianbiscuits coated withsesame seeds. They are typical of theprovince of Palermo but are also widespread in other Sicilian provinces. These pastries taste halfway between sweet and salty (savoury).[1][2][3]
