Birkirkara Football Club is a professionalfootball club based in the town ofBirkirkara, on the island ofMalta. The club was formed in 1950, following the amalgamation of Birkirkara United and Birkirkara Celtic. Birkirkara currently play in theMaltese Premier League, which it has won on four occasions, most recently in the2012–13 season.

Birkirkara is one of the founding members of theEuropean Club Association.[1]

The club also has a women's team.[2]
