Birdseye Highway is an east–west road acrossEyre Peninsula inSouth Australia. It was named forSylvia Birdseye who drove the first bus service to the area fromAdelaide for 43 years, starting in 1928,[3] and is the first highway in South Australia to be named for a woman.[4]
Birdseye Highway connectsElliston onFlinders Highway on the west coast, throughCleve andLock toCowell on theLincoln Highway near theSpencer Gulf coast.[5]
