Binna Burra is a rurallocality in theScenic Rim Region,Queensland, Australia.[3] It bordersNew South Wales.[4] In the2021 census, Binna Burra had "no people or a very low population".[2]

Geography

The locality is a long thin valley bounded by the ridge of theDarlington Range to the west and the ridge of theBeechmont Range to the east. It is bounded to the south by theborder between Queensland and New South Wales. TheCoomera River rises in the far south of the locality (28°15′21″S153°12′05″E / 28.2559°S 153.2015°E /-28.2559; 153.2015 (Coomera River (source))) and flows north along the valley and exits the locality to the north (Illanbah).[4]

The locality is almost entirely within theLamington National Park, except for a small area on the eastern edge of the locality where theBinna Burra Lodge is located (28°11′38″S153°11′14″E / 28.1939°S 153.1871°E /-28.1939; 153.1871 (Binna Burra Lodge)), providing accommodation within the national park for tourists.[4]
