William Ritchie (11 September 1936 – 10 March 2016)[2] was a Scottish professional footballer who was best known for his time withRangers.
Ritchie started his career at local sideBathgate Thistle before moving toRangers in 1955. He played both legs of Rangers1961 European Cup Winners' Cup Final defeat toFiorentina.
He leftRangers in 1967 and joinedPartick Thistle. Ritchie died on 10 March 2016, aged 79.[3]
