William "Bill" Kopp (born April 17, 1962) is an American animator, writer and voice actor.

Career

Kopp studied animation at theCalifornia Institute of the Arts. In 1984, he won a Merit Award from theStudent Academy Awards forMr. Gloom. In 1985, he won a Student Academy Award forObservational Hazard.

Kopp animated the Whammy on the 1980s game showPress Your Luck and voiced the title character onFox'sEek! The Cat and Kutter inThe Terrible Thunderlizards, which he created withSavage Steve Holland. He also voicedTom in the Tom and Jerry filmsTom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars andTom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry.[1]

He was an animator forThe Tracey Ullman Show"The Simpsons" shorts, but left after one season.

Kopp createdThe Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show andMad Jack the Pirate, worked as an executive producer and writer forToonsylvania, produced and directedTom and Jerry cartoons, wroteHare and Loathing in Las Vegas andThe Incredible Crash Dummies. Kopp worked on the story of the threeRoger Rabbit Shorts,Tummy Trouble,Roller Coaster Rabbit, andTrail Mix-Up. He was also the writer/director/co-producer onTales from the Crypt's series finale "The Third Pig".

He was the director of most episodes ofThe Twisted Whiskers Show.

Kopp is a regular onCartoon Network'sMighty Magiswords providing the voice of Man Fish the Fish Man.

He currently resides inCalifornia.
