William Michael Coventry (born 26 January 1967) is a former New Zealandrower.[2]
Coventry was born inHamilton in 1967.[1] He represented New Zealand at the1988 Summer Olympics in thecoxless four in a team withCampbell Clayton-Greene,Geoff Cotter, andNeil Gibson, where they came seventh.[3] At the1989 World Rowing Championships atBled, Yugoslavia, he won a Bronze in the men's four withIan Wright,Alastair Mackintosh, andCampbell Clayton-Greene.[4]
He married fellow Olympic rowerLynley Hannen and they live with their children inNelson.[5][6]
