Bilal Town is a wealthy northeastern suburb ofAbbottabad,Pakistan. It lies between central Abbottabad andKakul, where thePakistan Military Academy is located. The upper-class neighborhood contains some large houses and open fields and has a high number of retired military officials living in the community.
In May 2011, thehouse ofOsama bin Laden was invaded by theU.S. military in the southeastern outskirts of Bilal Town andhe was killed.[1]
