There is aprimary health centre with 5 beds at Bhadrakali, run byUttarpara Kotrung Municipality.[2]

Industry

The Bhadrakali distillery ofUnited Spirits was earlier owned byShaw Wallace.[3] In 1959 Bengal Distillery at Bhadrakali had become a fully owned subsidiary of Shaw Wallace.[4] The Bhadrakali distillery was set up in 1949 and manufactures fast moving brands ofIndian-made foreign liquor.[5]

Transport

State Highway 6 (West Bengal) /Grand Trunk Road passes through Bhadrakali.[6] The town is well connected withHowrah–Bardhaman main line throughUttarpara andHindmotor railway stations.
