Bernini is a crater onMercury. It has a diameter of 146 kilometers.[1] Its name was adopted by theInternational Astronomical Union (IAU) in 1976. Bernini is named for the Italian architect and sculptorGian Lorenzo Bernini, who lived from 1598 to 1680.[2]

Bernini is one of 110peak ring basins on Mercury.[3]
