Bernard Ulman (December 16, 1917 – 1986)[1] was anAmerican football andlacrosseofficial.
Ulman played as alacrossemidfielder at theUniversity of Maryland from 1938 to 1943[1] and also playedfootball for the school.[2] Ulman officiated in theNational Football League (NFL) for fifteen years and was selected to officiate inSuper Bowl I andSuper Bowl IX.[1] Additionally, he was one of the most well-known officials in lacrosse; his career spanned twenty years. He was inducted into theNational Lacrosse Hall of Fame as an official in 2003.[1] In addition to officiating, he was a salesman ofsports equipment.[2]
