Berbara (Arabic:البربارة, also spelledal-Barbara) is a municipality in theByblos District ofKeserwan-Jbeil Governorate,Lebanon. It is located along theMediterranean coast, 48 kilometers north ofBeirut. Berbara has an average elevation of 200 meters above sea level and a total land area of 314hectares.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyMaronite andGreek Orthodox Christians.[2]
