Benzomorphan is achemical compound that is the base for a series ofdrugs which variably act on thesigma receptors andκ-opioid receptors, including the following compounds:

Some of these agents are used asanalgesics, includingpentazocine,phenazocine,dezocine, andeptazocine.[7][8]
