TheBentiaba (orRio de São Nicolau or Saint Nicolas River) is a river in southernAngola. Its mouth is at the Atlantic Ocean near thecommune of Bentiaba inNamibe Province.
The riverbank has produced a number of Cretaceous fossils includingmosasaurs from Itombe Formation.[1][2]
Bentiaba is also the name given to the Cretaceous bonebed.[3]
