Benjamin Thomas Strutton (1892 – 9 February 1968) was an Englishcricketer. Strutton'sbatting style is unknown, though it is known he bowledslow left-arm orthodox. He was born atStifford,Essex.
Strutton made hisfirst-class debut forEssex againstMiddlesex at theCounty Ground, Leyton, in the1914 County Championship. He made three further first-class appearances for Essex followingWorld War I. These came in the1919 County Championship againstYorkshire,Somerset andHampshire.[1] In his four first-class matches, he scored a total of 64 runs at anaverage of 12.80, with a high score of 19.[2] With the ball, he bowled a total of 49overs, but despite bowling such a large number of overs he went wicketless.[3]
He died atSouthwark, London, on 9 February 1968.
