Bendazac (orbendazolic acid) is anonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for joint and muscular pain.[1]
Principal action is inhibition of protein denaturation.

Use ofchloroacetamide in the alkylation step, followed by acid hydrolysis produces bendazac (instead ofbenzydamine).
