Benjamin Ashley Van Ryn (born August 9, 1971) is an American formerMajor League Baseballpitcher who played for two seasons. He played for theCalifornia Angels in 1996 and theChicago Cubs,San Diego Padres, andToronto Blue Jays in 1998.
Van Ryn graduated fromEast Noble High School in 1990 and was selected by theMontreal Expos in the first round of the1990 MLB draft.[1][2]
