Benjamin George Frederick Green (born 28 September 1997) is an Englishcricketer who plays forLeicestershire County Cricket Club. He is a right-arm fast-medium pacebowler who also bats right-handed.[1] He progressed through the Devon age group system before being offered a first team contract during the 2016 season. On 29 July 2016 he made hisTwenty20 debut for Somerset againstHampshire in the2016 NatWest t20 Blast.[2]

On 3 August 2016, Green signed a three-year professional contract with Somerset.[3] He made hisList A debut for Somerset in the2018 Royal London One-Day Cup on 29 May 2018.[4] He made hisfirst-class debut for Somerset in the2018 County Championship on 4 September 2018.[5]

In June 2022, in the2022 T20 Blast, Green took his firstfive-wicket haul in Twenty20 cricket, with 5/29 againstGlamorgan.[6]

Green struck 157 againstDurham, in theRoyal London Cup on 10 August 2022. His innings included 12 sixes and 10 fours. His maiden hundred in the competition came from 58 deliveries (of which the second 50 was hit from just 14 deliveries). His team still lost the game.[7]

On 18 April 2024, Green joinedLeicestershire on a short-term loan deal.[8] In August 2024, Green returned to Leicestershire for a third loan spell for their remaining County Championship fixtures.[9] In March 2025, he rejoined Leicestershire on loan once again for the first seven matches of that year's County Championship season,[10] his loan deal was extended for a further two matches.[11] In August 2025, he signed a two year deal with the club.[12]
