Belmore State Forest is located inClay County, Florida.^[1]

The forest comprises two separated tracts totaling 12,262 acres.^[2] The northern Satsuma Tract abuts a portion ofCamp Blanding, and the southern 8,737-acre^[3] Ates Creek Tract is located near the northern part ofEtoniah Creek State Forest.
