Belle-et-Houllefort (French pronunciation:[bɛleulfɔʁ];West Flemish:Belle-Hollevoorde) is acommune in thePas-de-Calaisdepartment in theHauts-de-Franceregion in northern France.[3]

Geography

A farming and quarrying commune, some 8 miles (13 km) northeast ofBoulogne, at the junction of the N42, D233 and the D238 roads and by the banks of the riverWimereux.

Transport

TheChemin de fer de Boulogne à Bonningues (CF de BB) opened a station at Belle-et-Houllefort on 22 April 1900.[5] Passenger services were withdrawn on 31 December 1935.[6] They were reinstated in November 1942.[7] The CF de BB closed in 1948.[8]
