Belambo is a town and commune (Malagasy:kaominina) in northernMadagascar. It belongs toVohemar District, which is a part ofSava Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 6,000 in 2001 communecensus.[2]
Primary and junior level secondary education are available in town. The majority 99.9% of the population of the commune are farmers. The most important crop isvanilla, while other important products arecoffee,beans andrice. Services provide employment for 0.1% of the population.[2]
