Beaver Crossing is ahamlet incentral Alberta, Canada within theMunicipal District of Bonnyville No. 87,[2] located onHighway 28 where it crosses theBeaver River, approximately 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south ofCold Lake. Near here was Cold Lake House built by the Montreal traders in 1781.[citation needed]
