Sandland was drafted by theCarolina Panthers in the seventh round, 252nd overall, of the2016 NFL draft.[3] On September 3, 2016, he was waived by the Panthers as part of final roster cuts.[4] The next day he was signed to the Panthers'practice squad.[5] He was released by the Panthers on November 9, 2016.[6]
On November 11, 2016, Sandland was signed to theGreen Bay Packers' practice squad.[7] He signed a futures contract with the Packers on January 24, 2017.[8] He was placed oninjured reserve on August 13, 2017.[9] On August 18, 2017, he was released from injured reserve.[10]
On April 16, 2018, Sandland signed with theArizona Cardinals.[11] He was waived by the Cardinals on July 20, 2018 with anon-football injury designation.[12]
