Bayanaul (Kazakh:Баянауыл ауданы,Baianauyl audany) is adistrict ofPavlodar Region in northernKazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is theaul ofBayanaul.[3] Population: 27,899 (2013 estimate);[2] 28,296 (2009 census results);[4] 32,985 (1999 census results).[4]
Bayanaul District lies in theKazakh Uplands. 1,022 meters (3,353 ft) high mountAkbet in theBayanaul Range is the highest point in the district andTuzkol is the largest lake.[5][6]
